What are the eligibility criteria for India Post GDS recruitment 2024 ?

To be eligible for India Post GDS recruitment 2024 positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old. There is age relaxation for reserved categories, except for the EWS category:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwD: 10 years
  • PwD + OBC: 13 years
  • PwD + SC/ST: 15 years

• Educational Requirements: Candidates must have passed the 10th grade exam with competency in Mathematics and English from a recognized board.

Salary and other benefits of India post gds?

The India Post GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) wage structure changes depending on the function. Here are the details:

• Branch Postmaster (BPM):

Minimum TRCA (Time-Related Continuity Allowance) for 4 hours: ₹12,000

Minimum TRCA for 5 hours: ₹14,500

• Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) / Dak Sevak:

Minimum TRCA for 4 hours: ₹10,000

Minimum TRCA for 5 hours: ₹12,000

• Additional Allowances:

DA (Dearness Allowance): Approximately 119% of the basic salary.

HRA (House Rent Allowance), TA (Transport Allowance), MA (Medical Allowance), and other benefits.

• Annual Package:

For Branch Post Master: Around ₹1,44,000

For other posts: Approximately ₹1,20,000.
