Kawnpui Football Ground : Sports and Youth Services Minister in MSSC officially opened Kawnpui Football Ground on 5 July
The MSSC Kawnpui Football Ground was officially opened on July 5, 2024, by Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar, Minister of Sports and Youth Services. During the event, Rev Zosangliana Fanai, Chairman of the Sports and Youth Services Department, unveiled a plaque and formally opened the grounds.
Pu Lalnghinglova Hmar praised the ground’s importance in football development, as well as its role in cultivating local talent.
He also encouraged female footballers in Kawnpui to pursue their interest.The ground also facilitates hockey training, with the goal of producing Olympic-caliber athletes.
